CrypDefi is now Fortkey. read the announcement

Execution infrastructure for trading firms that measure edge in milliseconds.

Secure, client-controlled signing and policy enforcement for latency-sensitive institutional trading.

Custody protects assets at rest. Trading requires authority in motion.

Our mission is to make secure self-custody execution fast enough for institutional trading.

Institutional custody was designed primarily to secure long-term holdings. Latency-sensitive trading has a different constraint: policy-controlled signing authority must be available on the execution path.

Fortkey was built for that gap: a purpose-built execution wallet that runs alongside the custody you already trust. Your treasury stays where it is; the trading float moves to keys generated in your own enclaves. Fortified keys, built for speed.

    How we build

    Self-custody by construction

Keys stay inside client-controlled, hardware-isolated environments. Fortkey never holds custody of client assets.

    Performance is measured

We benchmark the signing path and design for predictable p50, p95 and p99 latency, not headline speed alone.

    Purpose-built for trading

Custody platforms secure assets at rest. Fortkey provides policy-controlled signing on the execution path, at trading speed.

Trust should be evidenced, not implied.

Security, performance and operational controls should be independently assessable, not asserted. The evidence we can share today, and the methodology behind it, is set out below.

    Security program

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, independently penetration-tested, with controls monitored through our Trust Center.

    Client-controlled architecture

Signing material stays inside client-controlled, hardware-isolated environments. Fortkey never holds custody of client assets.

    Measured performance

Cryptographic signing latency is reported separately from policy-checked end-to-end latency, with the methodology published. Full p50/p95/p99 benchmarks soon.

    Operational transparency

Auditable event log, documented deployment options and a defined incident process, reviewable during due diligence.
